Imagem Music Signs Bombay Bicycle Club

Imagem Music, the world's largest independent music publisher, has announced the signing of highly regarded UK band Bombay Bicycle Club to a long-term, global publishing agreement.

Bombay Bicycle Club - Jack Steadman, Jamie MacColl, Suren De Saram and Ed Nash - who are signed to Island Records worldwide, released their acclaimed debut album 'I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose,' in 2009 and saw it ranked highly in many prestigious end-of-year polls.

The album also helped the band win the NME award for 'Best New Band' earlier this year.

The North London based 4-piece are about to follow up the success of 'I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose,' with the release a new, acoustic album entitled 'Flaws' next month. A track from the forthcoming album entitled 'Ivy & Gold' is currently featuring on the Radio 1 B List.

The band also have a song, 'How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep,' featured in the next installment on the Twilight movie series 'Eclipse' , which is released on June 30th.

In addition Bombay Bicycle Club have numerous high profile festival appearances lined up throughout the summer including slots at Glastonbury, T In The Park and Lovebox among others.
